From the very beginning, 7Pines Resort Sardinia has placed nature at the heart of its identity. Developed through the careful renovation of a pre-existing structure, the resort has preserved approximately 90% of the original landscape. Locally sourced materials and partnerships with Sardinian artisans ensured a transformation that not only modernized the resort but also minimized its environmental impact. The result? A perfect equilibrium between contemporary comfort and sustainable consciousness.
Our dedication to sustainability extends beyond architecture - it is a way of life at 7Pines Resort Sardinia. Every detail, from eliminating single-use plastics to promoting waste separation, staff training, and eco mobility, reflects our commitment to responsible hospitality. One simple yet impactful initiative? Linen changes are carried out only upon request - guests can indicate their preference by placing a pinecone (found on the bedside table) on their pillow. This small act significantly reduces water, energy, and detergent consumption, allowing guests to become active participants in our sustainability efforts.
Even our culinary philosophy is ethical. In our restaurants, 85% of ingredients are sourced from Sardinia, ensuring not only the freshest flavors but also direct support for local farmers and producers. Resources are carefully managed across our three restaurants and staff canteen to achieve zero food waste.Organic waste is transformed into nutrient-rich compost, while surplus food nearing its expiration date is donated to charitable organizations. Additionally, our Executive Chef, Pasquale D’Ambrosio, cultivates two on-site gardens, providing our kitchens with fresh microgreens and reinforcing a true farm-to-table approach.
Sustainability is a value we nurture from an early age. At our Kids Club, children engage in hands-on activities that teach them about environmental stewardship, biodiversity, and creative recycling. From exploring the rich Mediterranean flora and fauna to learning how to tend to our resort’s vegetable garden, young guests develop an early appreciation for nature and the importance of making sustainable choices.
